Nick O'Hare should Resign say Lib Dems10.52.06pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 9th Aug 2005 Liberal Democrats in the London Borough of Bexley are calling on East Wickham councillor Nick O'Hare to resign his seat and face the electors in a byelection. Local Lib Dem Chair Chris Eady said: "Just a few weeks ago he deserted the people of East Wickham and moved to leafy Wilmington - near Dartford. Now, he has gone even further in deserting the local residents that voted for him as a Lib Dem - and joined the Tories. "Local residents elected a Liberal Democrat living in East Wickham and have got a Tory living in Wilmington. He should do the honourable thing and resign."
