Liberal Democrat London mayoral candidate Simon Hughes stopped off on the campaign trail to have his hair cut by salon owner, and Bexley Borough Lib Dem councillor, Nick O'Hare at "The Cutting Shop" in Welling.

Simon Hughes said; "As mayor of London I would work to ensure that I represent all of London's communities, not only the centre, but places like Welling in the London part of Kent. Small businesses like Nick's in communities like Welling are essential in making London a capital we are all proud to live and work in all of the time. Everybody, in all our communities, should feel themselves an equal stakeholder in Greater London plc. And everybody should feel that the money they pay to London is money that benefits us all."
