Karelia Scott is the Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for Bexleyheath and Crayford
Karelia Scott, Lib Dem MP candidate for Bexleyheath and Crayford said "The Tories have made clear they are not interested in making life better for ordinary people. Their manifesto offers only fake change not the real change this country and the people around here desperately need. The truth is that you cannot trust the Conservatives."
Karelia added "The Tory Council have shown year on year that they can't manage budgets. Why have we still got the highest council taxes in South East London, and how come they had to raise council taxes during the recession when most London boroughs didn't have to? We're just not getting value for money."
"I can't believe Cameron hasn't got rid of George Osborne", Karelia added. "Who wants Cameron's Etonian chum to be in charge of the economy at a time like this? The people of Bexley need to stand up and be counted and make sure Lib Dem Vince Cable is in charge of the economy. He is the best person for the job and the only one who can effect real change."
"David Cameron simply believes it is his turn to take over in the same way the two old parties have taken turns for years. Today's manifesto offers the same old empty promises based on the lazy assumption that people will just give them another go. When the Tories say we're all in this together, what they really mean is you're on your own. Their agenda is to take away help from those who need it and offer it to those already at the top. The Tories won't make life better for ordinary people here. Their manifesto offers only fake change not the real change this country and the people of Bexley heath and Crayford desperately need."
