Nick O'Hare should Resign say Lib Dems

Liberal Democrats in the London Borough of Bexley are calling on East Wickham councillor Nick O'Hare to resign his seat and face the electors in a byelection.

Local Lib Dem Chair Chris Eady said: "Just a few weeks ago he deserted the people of East Wickham and moved to leafy Wilmington - near Dartford. Now, he has gone even further in deserting the local residents that voted for him as a Lib Dem - and joined the Tories.

"Local residents elected a Liberal Democrat living in East Wickham and have got a Tory living in Wilmington. He should do the honourable thing and resign."
