East Wickham bus changes

At long last bus services are to be improved in East Wickham from January next year.
The B15 route is to be extended from Welling Corner to Eltham Station via Bellegrove Road and Welling Way. This will run every 20 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays with an hourly early evening service. Costs of providing a late evening and Sunday service are being evaluated by Transport for London.
The 96 bus route will increase frequency switching to every 8 minutes from 10 minutes at present on Mondays to Saturdays during the day. The early morning service will be extended to Bluewater.
Bexley & Bromley Lib Dem London Assembly spokesman, Duncan Borrowman said, "While we welcome these improvements there is still a long way to go, but at least the Mayor is possibly beginning to notice after three years that Bexley borough exists!"
