Borrowman to give evidence against incinerator

Waste IncineratorBexley & Bromley Prospective Greater London Assembly Candidate Duncan Borrowman will be submitting evidence to the Department of Trade and Industry against the proposed incinerator at Belvedere.

Mr Borrowman, who was the Chair of the Green Liberal Democrats at the time of the General Election - when Friends of the Earth praised the Liberal Democrats environmental policies said; "We should be cutting down on the amount of waste we produce, not encouraging waste hungry incinerators. 'Every household should be provided with quality doorstep recycling ensuring no new incinerators are needed and half our waste is recycled by 2010"
